Our Dentists

Dr. Winkler completed his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a B.A. in Psychology in 1992 and received his D.D.S. degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1997. In 1998, he completed his General Dental Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. MacKenzie is a 2014 graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned the Alumni Award for Clinical Excellence in Restorative Dentistry. Prior to dental school, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Connecticut College in New London, CT. He has been practicing at Franklin Dental Associates since he finished dental school.

Orthodontist

Dr. Broess earned his D.D.S. degree at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands before attending Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he completed his orthodontic specialty training and received his D.M.Sc. and D.M.D. degrees.

Endodontics

Dr. Marci Mazzuca was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario Canada. During her time in Canada she attended the University of Western Ontario, known for its strong science and research facilities. It is there she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in the Honors Biology program. After being offered a position at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Mazzuca transitioned to Boston to complete her doctorate in dentistry in 2008 where she graduated magnum cum laude and received an award for outstanding oral diagnosis.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Kobakov graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he earned the American Society of Anesthesiologist Award for excellence in anesthesia. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Boston University Medical Center, a level one trauma center. His training included extensive experience with dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders, obstructive sleep apnea, and surgical oncology.

Dr. Zent is a proud Massachusetts native, but received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park and her DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. While completing her undergraduate studies, she was a member of the Maryland Dance Team and was the president of the Pre-Dental Society.
